Five questions for Sky in the face of Fox’s offer

Fox's offer to buy the 60 per cent of Sky it does not already own is far from a done deal. Here the Financial Times answers the five big questions facing Sky as it prepares for its new dawn under full Murdoch family ownership. Over the past few years the broadcaster has invested heavily in a range of products - from Sky Go, which allows customers to watch channels on handheld devices over wireless, to Now TV, Sky's own on-demand streaming service. With Sky now a big player in the German and Italian pay-TV markets, Sky could look to become European club football's main TV partner. Sky insiders insist it was never part of the plan to offer content to customers over mobile networks.
