Greggs upgrades profit forecast but warns on costs

"The Greggs brand attracts everybody," said Mr Whiteside. Investec upgraded its 2016 full-year pre-tax profit forecast by 2 per cent to £80m on estimated sales of £894.3m, but left its 2017 forecasts unchanged. In 2015, Greggs made £73m pretax profit on £835.7m sales.
