Dialog Semiconductor: dog days
On Tuesday reports suggested that Anglo-German chipmaker Dialog might be the next Apple kit supplier to lose contracts with its Cupertino customer. Dialog specialises in semiconductors that control and distribute the power used within a mobile phone. Today, Apple provides roughly three-quarters of Dialog's sales. As yet no key bosses have left Dialog, notably, not its chief executive Jalal Bagherli. No doubt, Dialog could use more diversity in its customer base.
