G4S: unfunny business
The company, now G4S, has long been the butt of jokes. Operations at the world's biggest security company are geographically diverse; the UK government accounts for just 5 per cent of revenue. UBS thinks G4S will book £168m from divestments by the end of the year. Once the balance sheet has improved, G4S still needs growth. G4S needs to catch up with its peers in cash generation.
