Dixons Carphone sells Spanish business for €55m

UK phone and electrical retailer Dixons Carphone has sold its Spanish business for €55m. Dixons said on Friday it will sell its holdings in The Phone House Spain, Connected World Services Europe, and Smarthouse to Spanish telecom group Global Dominion Access. The deal is expected to be complete by the end of the company's second quarter with the cash reinvested into Dixon's business. Two years, Dixons disposed of its Phone House businesses in Portugal, Germany, and the Netherlands.
