Budget 2018: What the papers say
Chancellor Philip Hammond will present the Budget to Parliament at around 15:30 GMT on Monday. Ever since then there has been "a queue of ministers" at the Chancellor's door, the Observer said. "Chancellor splashes out to save his job" reads a headline on the front page of The Sunday Times. The report says, the Chancellor's allies have accused the Prime Minister's team of "Splashing public money to try to save her own job". The Chancellor was due to announce a date for that to happen in the Budget.
