Aviva finance chief to step down amid management shake up

Aviva finance chief Tom Stoddard is to step down, marking the latest departure from the insurer's management team under new chief executive Maurice Tulloch. Mr Stoddard - an American lawyer and investment banker who previously headed up Blackstone's financial institutions advisory arm - had been Aviva's finance chief since April 2014. The move is the latest change to Aviva's management team under Mr Tulloch, who took the reins at the company in March, vowing to "Re-energise" the insurer.
