Ted Baker appoints Rachel Osborne as permanent chief

Ted Baker has named Rachel Osborne as permanent chief executive, three months after she took the interim role at the struggling UK fashion chain. Ms Osborne joined Ted Baker as chief finance officer in November from Debenhams where she helped steer the department store group through a restructuring. Ted Baker suffered an exodus of senior executives following the resignation of its founder Ray Kelvin last March, after 32 years running the company due to allegations of misconduct, including "Forced hugging" of employees. Ms Osborne said she had "Put together a clear plan to transform Ted Baker". Ms Osborne has also cut the size of Ted Baker's executive board from 13 to nine members.
