Coronavirus latest: Subscriber growth disappointment at Disney Plus compounds streaming sector doubts

Shares in Disney dropped more than 4 per cent in after hours trade on the results. The stock has soared by more than 60 per cent in the past year as investors focused on its fast-growing streaming business, instead of the billions of dollars it lost to the pandemic. In the bloc, 27 per cent of adults said they were "Very unlikely" or "Rather unlikely" to agree to a coronavirus shot, the Eurofound survey showed. More than 53 per cent of Ohio residents aged 18 and up have received at least one dose of vaccine, ranking it 32nd among states and compared to the national average of 58.7 per cent, according to US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data. Two in three new coronavirus infections in the US are estimated to be a result of the Covid-19 variant first identified in the UK, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
