Dyson and former CEO drop lawsuits
Dyson and its former chief executive have dropped their lawsuits against each other, following a settlement by the British invention group to end the two-way legal battle. In its suit filed in November, Dyson claimed its former boss leaked the group's secrets to third parties during his tenure. At the time Mr Conze called the claims a "Ridiculous allegation" and said Dyson "Is merely trying to distract attention from the claims that Dyson know I am about to issue". Anne Marie Sastry, who founded the battery start-up Sakti3 that was acquired by Dyson in two years ago for $90m, has also left the group. In October Dyson promoted its chief operations officer Jim Rowan to become its new chief executive, though many of the major business decisions are still taken by Sir James Dyson, the founder and executive chairman, who remains the face of the company and still holds a controlling shareholding.
