Eurostar to suspend direct trains to Disneyland Paris

Eurostar is to suspend its direct train service between London and Disneyland Paris. The company said the route would be axed from 5 June next year for the duration of the summer. The suspension of the service means passengers will now have to change at Paris or Lille. A Eurostar spokeswoman said: "Whilst we continue to recover financially from the pandemic and monitor developments in the proposed EU Entry Exit system, we need to focus on our core routes to ensure we can continue to provide the high level of service and experience that our customers rightly expect." Eurostar also recently announced its services may not stop in Kent again until 2025.The company cited financial reasons and the post-Brexit border situation, adding that it "Must focus on our most profitable inter-capital routes".
