Twitter launches in-app live video

Twitter's latest update allows users to stream live video directly from the app, in a similar way to Facebook and YouTube. The update allows you to go live straight from the Twitter app, whether or not you have a Periscope account. YouTube also offers live streaming, but only for verified accounts. Twitter explained in a blog post that "Once you're live, anyone on Twitter and Periscope can join your live video and participate in your experience". While we're talking about social media updates... you can also now Shazam directly in Snapchat - what a world we live in.
