GKN's chairman Michael John Turner introduced Anne Stevens, the former Ford executive who was appointed chief executive last month, as "My valentine". After more than seven years at the helm, the 58-year-old will hand over to protégé John Flint at midnight on Tuesday after the group's annual results.
