Samsung unveils TV that can switch to vertical mode
Samsung has unveiled a TV that switches from a horizontal, landscape-style orientation to vertical - so it can easily display smartphone content. Sero will come with a microphone and Samsung's virtual assistant Bixby built in. "It is telling that the TV will initially launch in South Korea, which is a market with very high mobile phone usage, so the likely success can be gauged quite early." The South Korean tech giant is known for its sometimes experimental TV designs. The BBC has asked Samsung whether the Sero is likely to be released outside South Korea and is awaiting a response.
